You don’t have to be religious to benefit from Lent.
At Propel, we use the 46 days leading up to Easter as a challenge.
All you have to do is add something healthy to do Physically and also something to eliminate Nutritionally.
Neither have to be massive impositions on your life.
Just something small, that done daily, will shift your health.
Below are some examples and ideas:
– No rice
– No alcohol
– 5 minute run
– Stretching/yoga routine
– 20 Push ups & Chin ups (total)
You can see none of the above activities will totally change your day….
But over 6 weeks they can have a positive effect on your health.
Over the years we’ve made some tweaks to the original idea of Lent:
– Our challenge stops on Good Friday Eve (Thursday).
– You’re allowed, though not encouraged, to “take Sundays off”.
Kick off is (Ash) Wednesday.
