A lot of you at the Samford gym already take creatine every day, and every November the same question lands at the front desk: is it worth waiting for the sales?
This year the answer depends on how much you have left in the cupboard.
The three weeks
Propel Health is running its creatine sale over three weeks rather than one weekend:
- Monday 9 to Sunday 15 November: 10% off
- Monday 16 to Sunday 22 November: 15% off
- Monday 23 November to Cyber Monday 30 November: 20% off
It comes off automatically at checkout, and it applies on top of the pack prices. No code.
My advice to members
If your tub runs out before the 16th, buy a single or a 2 pack in week one. Do not go without just to save a few dollars.
If you have a few weeks left, wait for the 23rd. A 4 pack at 20% off is $101.56, and at a 5 g daily serve that is about eight months of creatine for the price of roughly three single tubs.
If a few of you train together, consider splitting a 4 pack. Four people, one tub each, all at the 4 pack price, and the order clears the $125 free post line.
I have checked the black friday creatine deals page and every price for every week is laid out there, for both the standard tub and the batch-tested option.
Storing a 4 pack
If you buy four tubs, keep the unopened ones in a cool, dry cupboard, out of the sun and away from the kettle. Keep the lid tight on the one you are using and use a dry scoop. Damp scoops are how creatine ends up in a solid lump.
Keep it simple
Plain creatine monohydrate, one ingredient, a heaped teaspoon in water or your shake. That is all there is to it.
A few of you have asked about the batch-tested option. It is the same plain creatine monohydrate with batch testing, and it costs a few dollars more a tub. If your sport or club asks you to use batch-tested products, that is the one to buy. If not, the standard tub is fine.
Whichever you pick, put a note in your phone for the week that suits you. The discount comes off by itself, so the only way to miss out is to forget.
See you on the floor.
